Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson has released the first trailer for his upcoming game, Scrolls. The video only features about two seconds of actual gameplay footage, but still, it's exciting.
Scrolls has been a hot news topic ever since lawyers for Bethesda, developer of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, sent Persson a letter, alleging his new game would infringe on their trademark. This led to Persson's colorful challenge to Bethesda, in which he offered to resolve the dispute via a friendly match of Quake 3.
No word on whether Bethesda accepted the challenge, but in the meantime, Persson is going ahead with promoting his new game through this new video.
